2. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Create and manage your account and provide the Services, including publishing and scheduling content and showing analytics.
- Process payments, send receipts, and manage subscriptions and renewals.

We do not use data from your connected social accounts for advertising, and we do not sell it.
3. Google and YouTube user data
When you connect a Google or YouTube account, the Services use YouTube API Services. MoVO Media Planner's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use this data only to provide and improve the user-facing features you choose, and we do not use it to serve ads or transfer it to others except as needed to provide the Services, comply with law, or as part of a merger or acquisition.
By using YouTube features, you are also subject to the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke our access to your Google data at any time at Google security settings.
4. How we share information
We share personal information only as described below.
- Service providers. We share information with vendors who help us operate the Services, including our social media planning technology provider (Cloud Campaign), hosting and cloud storage providers, payment processors, email and messaging providers, customer relationship management tools, and analytics providers. They may use the information only to perform services for us.
- Third-Party Platforms. When you publish or schedule content, we send Your Content and related instructions to the platforms you choose. Their handling of that information is governed by their own privacy policies.
- Your organization and invited users. If your account belongs to a company or team, account administrators and invited users may see content and activity in that workspace.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when we believe it is needed to protect the rights, property, or safety of MoVO, our users, or others.
- Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that deal, subject to this Policy.
- With your consent. We share information in other ways when you direct us to.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not share mobile numbers or text messaging opt-in data with third parties for their marketing purposes.
5. Cookies and analytics
We and our providers use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, understand how the websites and Services are used, and measure our own marketing. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work without them. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies. We honor Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out of any sale or sharing where state law requires it.
6. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services. After your account closes, we delete or de-identify Your Content and connected-account tokens within 30 days, except where we must keep information longer for legal, tax, accounting, security, or dispute-resolution purposes. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires. Backups are overwritten on a regular cycle.
7. Disconnecting accounts and deleting your data
- Disconnect a social account. Remove the account in your Media Planner settings, or revoke access through the platform (for example, Facebook Settings > Business Integrations, or Google account permissions). When you disconnect, we stop collecting new data from that account.
- Request deletion. To delete your account and associated data, including data received from Facebook, Instagram, or other platforms, email Movo@movomediamarketing.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and the email address on your account. We will confirm your request and complete deletion within 30 days, except for information we must keep by law.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and reliance on providers with established security programs. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know or access the personal information we hold about you and get a copy.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete your personal information.
- Opt out of the sale of personal information, sharing for targeted advertising, or certain profiling (we do not engage in these).
- Withdraw consent where we rely on it.
- Appeal our decision on your request.
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Oregon, Texas, Virginia, and other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws, as well as users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Canada, may exercise these rights by emailing Movo@movomediamarketing.com. We will verify your identity before responding and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision, and you may contact your state attorney general or local data protection authority if you are not satisfied.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the email. Service messages about your account will still be sent.
10. International users
MoVO is based in the United States, and we process and store information in the United States and in other countries where our providers operate. If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we process your personal information to perform our contract with you, for our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Services, to comply with legal obligations, and with your consent where required. Where we transfer personal information outside your region, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
11. Information you manage for others
If you use the Services to manage social accounts or content for your clients or others, you control that information and we process it on your behalf. You are responsible for giving any required notices and getting any required permissions. Individuals whose information is in a customer's account should contact that customer with privacy requests, and we will help the customer respond.
12. Children
The Services are intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Third-party links
The Services may link to or integrate with websites and platforms we do not control. This Policy does not apply to them, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the Services before the changes take effect.
